At JEMEC, we're doing everything we can to protect our team and our customers from the dreadful threat of coronavirus. This includes
- Asking all visitors to social distance and stick to the guidance provided by the Government of Jersey
- Offering no-contact services by email and telephone - so you don't have to visit the showroom if you don't want to
- Discussing the car, your requirements and your budget thoroughly before you test-drive a vehicle to minimise the time our vehicle preparation technicians need to spend in cars which have been recently driven
- Sanitising every vehicle thoroughly when it arrives on site and after every test-drive
- Offering gloves and facemask to customers for use in the showroom and on test-drives
- Providing hand-sanitiser on every desk
- Removing all magazines and literature from the showroom
During lock-down in March, April and May 2020, we closed our showroom earlier than every other dealership in Jersey ahead of the government guidelines. We continued to pay our staff their full wages, and our suppliers, throughout the lock-down period, and managed to stay open and continue to sell and source cars online and by working at home.
